  • NEW! MSCPA Mentoring Program
    This unique mentoring program is designed for high school students, college students and working professionals in Massachusetts who are interested in learning more about careers in the accounting field.

  • 'Is Accounting for Me? From College to Career' Conference Attracts 140 Students and Teachers
    Students were presented with the many faces of accounting through presentations, workshops, and panel discussions. Activities included an accounting jeopardy competition that challenged the students to identify the type of client service being provided by a CPA in a given scenario as well as an interactive computer lab session that demonstrated the use of accounting software. A panel of college students answered several questions about college life and the rigors of an accounting major. Teachers had their own networking session attended by Bentley faculty and admission representatives followed by a presentation on the "HiFi" financial literacy program established for inclusion in the high school curriculum.

  • Bentley College Leadership Institute

  • UMass Careers in Accounting and Management Professions (CAMP)
    A week-long program at UMASS Amherst to introduce minority students to various opportunities available in the business world, especially accounting.     Students develop leadership, communication, and business skills by participating in leadership training programs and competing in events for business communications, computer applications, information technology, business management and financial management.   • Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA)
    DECA enhances the co-curricular education of students with interests in marketing, management and entrepreneurship by providing opportunities to participate in competitive events, leadership development programs, job training and community service.   • Junior Achievement of Northern New England

  • National Academy Foundation - Academy of Finance
    Operates as a school within a school, featuring two-to-four year academic programs that augment standard curricula. In addition to their required courses, students take 1 or 2 specialized courses each semester, and a college-level course in their senior year. Students complete 6-8 week paid internships and are introduced to all facets of the financial services industry through job shadowing, mentoring, and field trips. Teachers receive curriculum, staff development and technical assistance.   • National Foundation for the Teaching of Entrepreneurship (NFTE)
    NFTE's mission is to teach entrepreneurship to young people from low-income communities to enhance their economic productivity by improving their business, academic, and life skills.
