The Latest Start Here, Go Places Competition Launches Tomorrow!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 18, the AICPA is launching a new high school student competition—Project Innovation: The Start Here, Go Places.® Competition of Creative Excellence. This team-driven competition encourages high school students ages 15-19 to submit ideas for the site’s next digital feature. Winning ideas would include features that would help students in their journey to college and beyond. The first place student team will be awarded student scholarships, and their schools will also receive funds to use toward educational purposes.

  • Here’s how it works. Working in teams of 2-4 students, with a faculty advisor, each group will brainstorm an idea they’d most like to see added to StartHereGoPlaces.com. It can be a new tool they’d like to utilize, or an interactive video component, anything! Then, they’ll submit their entry on the site in hopes of winning. The more creative, the better.

To learn more about the competition, visit StartHereGoPlaces.com/competition beginning Wednesday, Jan. 18 (the link will not be live until then) for all the details and the official rules. Entries must be received by Monday, Feb. 6.
