Even in Recession, Pay is Increasing for Senior Accountants

Pay is under pressure in the recession, but compensation for experienced accountants who can qualify as senior accountants, typically requiring a bachelor's degree in accounting and several years of experience, has increased 2% since July 2008, with the median pay now $60,300.
