The PhD Project Annual Conference

The PhD Project Annual conference is now accepting applications - Deadline to apply is October 2, 2017!

The PhD Project is a unique diversity initiative that encourages African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans and Native Americans to pursue their Ph.D.’s in business to serve as role models and mentors for minority business students. The PhD Project was initiated by the KPMG Foundation in 1994 and since that time has helped to increase the number of minority business faculty from 294 to over 1,350 today!

The PhD Project hosts an invitation only annual conference each November for minority professionals considering doctoral studies. Applications to the Conference are reviewed by university representatives as well as The PhD Project staff. This year’s Conference will be held November 15-17, in Chicago; the application deadline is October 2nd. The PhD Project covers domestic airfare, hotel, meals and other conference expenses; attendees pay a $200 registration fee.
